Alto Frio Summer Staff
We believe in an overflow model of servant-ministry; we pour into our summer staff, and they will then pour into the people they serve at camp. Not only do we do our best to give our staff breaks through the day, but we also try to ensure that they get something more than pay out of the experience.
Summer Staff will be assigned to one of three teams: Kitchen, Guest Services, and Lifeguard. However, there are some duties that every summer staffer will be expected to participate in, such as serving in the dining hall or cleaning guest rooms.
Applicants must be 16 or older, must be able to pass a background check and drug test, and must be available during evenings and weekends.
During their downtime, they will have the opportunity to participate in a weekly worship and Bible study time specially designed for them and led by Alto Frio staff. The rest of their free time can be spent bonding with one another over movies, activities, or enjoying area attractions.
Alto Frio offers extremely competitive pay, starting at $225/week for regular staff and $250 for lifeguards, with opportunities for bonuses and raises. Housing is provided, and all meals served to guests in our dining hall are also open to staff.
